One of the most historic BnM locomotives is LM176, it was built by BnM in 1961 as Wagonmaster prototype, this rather large series what produced for as long as 20 years began from this locomotive. Also it gone through two full rebuild. It emerged in its latest form after rebuilding at Derrygreenagh in 2016 received a standard appearance for the LM400 class.
Recently it has been used with this technical train: mess van with half canteen half workshop and flat wagon with track supplies. It's based in Ballykeane Bog near Walsh Island and looks after the Ballykeane, Esker and Daingean branches
