There were about 2-3 trains per day pulled by double 185 locos and these carried only powder iron ore, most long IORE trains hauled iron ore pellets.

@Maersk.146 Yes it is, but it's not always easily accessible in mountains, as you can imagine.. But views are impressive of course and definitely worth the effort.
Other than cold weather there is not much to worry about up north 😄

On the left we can see Norddal bridge, a 180 metre long steel trestle over deep gorge. It was used until 1988, when a new alignment was built, replacing one big bridge with two smaller ones.
