http://trainspo.com/class/5781/ should be called (EMD) "GR12".

http://trainspo.com/class/4580/ while "NF210" is the newfoundland railways' name of the class, the more generic designation is (EMD) "GR12UM".

... to the best of my knowledge.

http://trainspo.com/class/4596/ those things are called (GE) 289A "Boxcabs". Moreover, FCTT is the old name of the railway company (Ferrocarril de Tocopilla al Toco), today it's owned by Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile (SQM).

@gubi

http://trainspo.com/class/5781/ should be called (EMD) "GR12".

Name has been changed, thanks.

while "NF210" is the newfoundland railways' name of the class, the more generic designation is (EMD) "GR12UM".

We have separate pages for class and model. Class is the page of the unit hired to company, and the model page is like an "hardware" unit. For this vehicle we have:

class page http://trainspo.com/class/4580/
model page http://trainspo.com/model/3146/

Hope it's correct.

Thanks for details and Boxcabs and SQM, profile has been changed. You can provide technical details for 289A vehicles, we have only basic profile: http://trainspo.com/model/3156/

FS ALe 501 train is in the "EA720/721" model page. It is incorrect, ALe 501 trains are the "original" model of italian Coradias, EA720 are an evolution of them. It would be more correct if you create a model page for ALe 501 trains (FS, GTT, FAS, FCU, TFT), separated from the Ferrovie Nord and Trenord EA720/ETR245 model page.

Details of ALe 501 model:
Series: Coradia Italiano
Build: Alstom, 2003 - 2010
Total build: 100 for FS, 20 for GTT, 6 for FAS (as ETR/S03), 4 for TFT and 4 for FCU
Top speed: 160km/h
Capacity: 146 seats
Formation: 3, 2 driving cars
Gauge: 1435mm
UIC Axles: Bo'2'2'Bo'
Train length: 51.90m
Width: 2.95m
Height: 3.82m
Weight: 100t
Electric systems: 3kV DC
Power output: 1250kW (motors: 2)

@14luca95

Thanks Luca, it was always hard for me to find exact information for this EMUs 😉

You can check now two separate model pages:

ALe 501 http://trainspo.com/model/5034/
ETA 720/721 http://trainspo.com/model/314/

It will be also great if you can review all the Coradia Italiana series list: http://trainspo.com/series/148/

Great job Mikhail. Now the data are correct 😉

I found a next mistake:
http://trainspo.com/photo/13739/
This locomotive can't be 182 014, because 182 014 is a red DB Locomotive, and not a black MRCE one. Maybe it is MRCE ES64 U2 014, this would mean, that the official Number is 182 514. The Number is to small, so I can't really see it, but maybe the author can have a closer look 😉

@Kursbuchstrecke

According to original image on Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jaapsmith/6155561706 it must be 514 😉

A further correction: I asked someone, whos job it is to know such things in a german Forum:
http://sichtungen.bahnverkehr-nrw.de/index.php?page=Index
And he confirmed:
http://trainspo.com/operator/1804/
Transpetrol is in none of this pictures the operator, the real operator of those trains was "Bräunert". Transpetrol wasn't able to take part on the german rail traffic. May they just will start it this year.
avatar
Mikhail Ter

@Kursbuchstrecke

As i know, Bräunert operating locomotives for Transpetrol. It's looks like Bräunert hiring locos from MRCE/Rpool and use them for Transpetrol needs. I really don't now how to put this in database, it's looks like some kind of subhiring.

On Bräunert's website http://www.braeunert.de/ Eisenbahnverkehr section links to http://www.transpetrol.de/
K
Kursbuchstrecke

@ter This could be, but how do you know, in wich case Bräunert operates itself and in wich case for Transpetrol? The only thing that is sure is, that in every case the train is from Bräunert.
Fright traffic on railroads in germany is complicate...:D

@Kursbuchstrecke thanks for info, should think how to fit it in the database.

I found an error: some pictures of Hupac D100 are shown in the database as CTI D100. The mistake probably is due to Captrain sometimes uses one or two D100 from Hupac. Hupac D100 are number 051, 052 and 100.
In this picture (http://trainspo.com/photo/29300/ ), it was an Hupac train, with Hupac locomotive. I found all the pictures of Hupac D100 with Hupac services but displayed as CTI D100.
Here you have the links of these pictures.
http://trainspo.com/photo/42574/
http://trainspo.com/photo/17562/
http://trainspo.com/photo/8059/

This other picture of an Hupac D100, was an Arenaways service:
http://trainspo.com/photo/40629/

All the other pictures of Hupac D100 are with Captrain services, so they are correct.

Another correction: in this picture, the location is wrong: http://trainspo.com/photo/31016/
The picture was taken in San Nicolò Piacentino, not in Ponte San Nicolò.

Thanks for your attention!

@14luca95

Thanks for the corrections, Luca. I need help with geo correction - find please a correct place for the last picture here: http://www.geonames.org/ and give exact link to the geo object.

@bfsSwiss can you help me please with Gmf 4/4 II profile? It's strange situation that we have vehicle profile, where we have the same locomotive under different running numbers (28704 renumbered to 23404).

Maybe we can divide it on two class profiles, like Gmf 4/4 II 234 with 04-01 locos and Gmf 4/4 II 287 with 01-04 locos? It will be like this loco was reclassified from 287 to 234. Do you know why it was renumbered?
B
bfsSwiss

@ter
The new RhB number system (created 2007) was not clearly enough in the scope of service vehicles. To have unique numbers and a clear structure in the number system, RhB decided to renumber 8 self-propelled vehicles (old #, type : new #):
- 23202 Xe 4/4 II : 27101
- 28701 - 04 Gmf 4/4 II : 23401 - 04
- 92020 Xmf 6/6 : : 24401
- 26591 - 92 Taf 2/2 : 29591 - 92
I would create a class profile Gmf 4/4 II 23401-04 (ex 28701-04).

I found an error in: https://trainspo.com/photo/7110/?list=class
This railcar should be in the database as '9006' and not '6009'.

@hansscherpenhuizen thanks, changed.

I fail to see this locomotive in the Austrian database: https://trainspo.com/class/6912/
avatar
Mikhail Ter

@hansscherpenhuizen Sorry, i can't understand the essence of the problem.
avatar
hans.scherpenhuizen

When I go this page: https://trainspo.com/operator/1/
I expect to see class ÖBB 298 in the column of 'Steamlocomotives', since I have found this locomotive class in Austria. ( https://trainspo.com/class/6912/)
But I cannot see this, so I think it has been forgotten. Am I right?
avatar
Mikhail Ter

@hansscherpenhuizen

If you will see at the left column, you will see model/original class name and this loco listed as "kkStB U", but at the right column you can see operator designation of the vehicle, and this loco shown as "ÖBB 298".

hans.scherpenhuizen

Thank you, it is now clear to me.

In Belgium it is confusing that there are two electric locomotives type 18.
1) The original one from Alst(h)om built 1973/74. Page https://trainspo.com/class/2142/
2) The second one, built by Siemens 2008/11. Page https://trainspo.com/model/2429/

In this way, one engine got lost: https://trainspo.com/photo/80351/?list=class
It should be on the second (Siemens) page.
avatar
Mikhail Ter

@hansscherpenhuizen thanks, moved this engine to correct class.

Loco (overhead wire) in photo for 12 kV or 25 kV?
avatar

@tzhs As I know, HHP-8 works on Northeast Corridor between Boston and Washington, DC and this line use 3 different type of electrification.

When I see this page: https://trainspo.com/model/2891/ The gauge notation is wrong. This should be 1435 mm.
avatar
Mikhail Ter

@hansscherpenhuizen Oops, fixed, thanks!
avatar
hans.scherpenhuizen

This page gives a summary of the various types RDC railcars:https://trainspo.com/series/80/
I wonder why this type (https://trainspo.com/model/6188/) is not included in this list.
avatar
Mikhail Ter

@hansscherpenhuizen Now it should be ok, thank you.
avatar
hans.scherpenhuizen

Great job, thanks!
avatar
hans.scherpenhuizen

When I see this page: https://trainspo.com/model/2334/ The gauge notation is wrong. This should be 1067 mm in stead of 1000 mm.

@hansscherpenhuizen hi, this issue has been fixed. Please share any more technical details about this vehicle if you know. Thanks!
