The Railway around Bray Head at Graystones is referred to as Brunels Folly. Cut through the slate of the Wicklow Mountains , it requires much maintenance. The tunnel portal to the right of the shot is from an earlier formation , the line suffering heavy erosion. The line was designed in 1885 and spoilt by the wires needed for Dublin Area Rapid ..
