That's a Gopher which is a Minnesota symbol. The Three cities listed are where hockey games were won. The paint scheme has nothing to do with the railroad but rather demonstrates the owners interest in Minnesota hockey. This unit was re-painted this last winter in a black and yellow Northern Pacific scheme. |
