Built by Baldwin in Philadelphia for the EF Morgana in Brazil in 1897 as a 2-6-0 it was brought to the UK in 1990 and acquired by the Brecon Mountain Railway in 2002 and converted into a 2-6-2. Most of what you see is new, only the frames, cylinders, valve gear and some of the running gear is from the original. The boiler, tender, trailing truck, cab and boiler fittings were made in the BMR workshop at Pant.
