I've been told these are just a straight lease to make up for the poor quality control with the SD70MACe overhauls, and the awful loaner power SD75M's while that program was going on. I'll be surprised if KCS buys any, but I guess if Progress "give them away" or the price is right, who knows. So far they've been pretty abysmal engines as far as availability and en route failures go.

@Maersk.146 I don't know man, but they're in pretty rough shape. Pretty much since GM sold it off it's been aimless wondering around the industry without much direction.
