I talked to these guys a couple months ago. Apparently the old switch engine was getting really hard to find parts for.

@uptrain The company is based in KC, but I wonder if they build them here, too...

I'm not sure. Those guys did note they were somewhat displeased with the abilities of this machine compared to a real locomotive.

@uptrain Shuttlewagon does make larger, more powerful machines than this, but, as always, "Can we do it cheaper?"
