The COVID-19 restrictions have changed the entire travel concept in Indian Railways. Earlier practice of getting a ticket over the counter and entering the unreserved carriages is completely stopped. Even the unreserved carriages have reservation where seat number is allocated. Hence no crowding in the carriages or hanging by the door in once crowded trains. Not all trains are doing service. Regular service is returning to normalcy very slowly only with restrictions.
