@yannik is Betriebsgruppe TW101 the real Train Operator (EVU) of this Railcar? or is it maintained by this heritage group but operated by the Sensetalbahn?

@Taurus717 Hi, the history of the STB (Sensetalbahn) is complicated. The company still exists and owns the tracks but only have five or so employees. This heritage group was formed in recent years and restored the old railcar last year with the help of crowdfunding. The STB used the railcar on the line between Flamatt - Laupen BE - Gümmenen. The line between Gümmenen and Laupen BE closed a long time ago. The remaining section is served by the Berner S-Bahn S2 and was recently completely renewed. @yannik thanks, very interesting. I see that the remaining section between Laupen and Gümmenen has not been dismantled and used as a rail-bike attraction (schienenvelo). To the operator. The STB was absorbed by SBB in 2001. STB is not an actual operator anymore. So i suppose that on that trip, the railcar was driven by SBB personnel, right?

@Taurus717 I'm not sure which EVU the driver is working for, but this was all done in his spare time. Even the rails on which the TW 101 is standing are not owned by SBB anymore.
