Surprising to spot an old freight loco with 30 years of service, ERODE DLS WAG-5HA, powering a passenger train. Once held by ARAKKONAM shed, this loco was transferred between ERODE DLS & ARAKKONAM shed two times in 2020. Finally the loco seems to have settled in ERODE DLS shed before its retirement from active service. Mostly these WAG-5 locos are used in mainline shunting duties and short distance trains.
