@LevPavliuk96 - Yes; Not always; and No. Very few American diesel locos have cabs at both ends of a single unit (none in current production), but most electric-powered locos in the US have cabs at both ends.(most are of European design). Sometimes Amtrak runs its diesel power back-to-back, but mostly they run all units cab-forward. There is no provision for passage from one unit to another unless back-to-back, and in that instance, there is no way for crew to pass from train to locos or vice-versa, while running. If access is needed, the train would have to stop.
