PONMALAI WDG-3A pair powering Tirunelveli Jn - Sengottai Express through rural outskirts of Ambasamudram on a sunny afternoon. As the electrification has started, even though in a slow pace, within an year's time this line with have electric locos. Even though I have passed through this location many times, I could not get an access to this place. But last Friday, while I was passing through this place, I saw a beautiful peacock. Trying to get a shot of that beautiful bird, I found the way to reach the track. Thus I got this shot with the palm trees in the background.
