As Indian Railways is electrifying its Broad Gauge routes at a break-neck pace, Gotan is one of the very few stations still lacking the catenary till date.. I went to this place for trainspotting for a day, and the first passenger train I captured was this train, the Marudhar expess from Jodhpur to Varanasi City, powered by a WDP-4B of Bhagat Ki Kothi Diesel loco shed which is uniquely liveried..The lighting was also perfect complimenting to the beauty of this location and the arriving train.
