There is a local legend about this place which the locals kindly shared with us: once upon a time in this area there was a family settlement of mahallë, which was destroyed by the Slavic invasion of these lands, only an old woman with her grandchildren and cattle who went to this stone and was saved.
They say she lived in a cave and raised her grandchildren, but one day she fell from her shelter and died. That's why the rock is called "old woman's stone" if translated from Albanian.
