Is this line ever likely to be electrified? It is certainly nice to see without all the poles.

@Maersk.146 not likely at the moment. They ran out of money on the Paddington to Bristol line at Chippenham. Our government are tight since 2010 (that's another can of worms). These class 80x are bi-modes , this one ran on diesel from Plymouth to Newbury , then switches to electric for the last 50 miles ish to Paddington
