The normal route from Amsterdam CS to Paris Nord is via Den Haag - Rotterdam - Roosendaal - Antwerpen. As on this day there was a derailment at Lage Zwaluwe, the international trains were directed Amsterdam - Utrecht - 's Hertogenbosch - Tilburg - Breda - Roosendaal.
