Are these still in service? The cars were built by Astra Arad, România. I saw one at the Romanian Railway Days 2010 exhibition, they looked very good inside... what happened to them?

No, since the company went bankrupt this train is no longer in operation.
The carriages are set aside to Santhià(VC).

Thanks for the answer. Using 2 locomotives for 3 cars is not very efficient... I'm sure Astra Arad would have delivered pilot cars if asked... it's a pity that these new cars are not bought by other company and put in service.
