Do you have to have special permit to take photos at Hungarian railway stations? I read few months ago that there was an idea to introduce a special fee for taking photos at stations. Is that true?
Earlier you have to have permit only for taking pictures in depots. Now -if I know well- you should have it also when you want to take pictures at stations, and it costs 2000HUF (~10 USD). I don't agree with this way, and i didn't, and won't pay for it. As I experienced it isn't controlled, only if you want to go to the district of depots.
I think it is fair, when you have to pay for taking pictures in depots. Paying for taking photos at stations - it is ridiculous in my opinion. Do you know how long is this permit valid? If I had to pay for this permit every time when I want to take photos at station, I would go bancrupt 😉
Anyway, thank you for the information 🙂
This permission is given for a year.
