Norfolk Southern's Pennsylvania Railroad Heritage unit, ES44AC 8102, threads its way through the reverse curves at Siberia, in California's Mojave Desert, on February 3rd, 2014. NS 8102, NS 9898 and BNSF 670 are in charge of BNSF train Q-NYCLAC1-01A as it makes its way from New York, NY, to Los Angeles, CA.
Interesting how so many of these NS heritage units wander the country, way off line. They hardly ever make it to KC, and if they do, it's nearly always at night or buried in the consist. Congrats on catching the Pennsy!
