Norwegian operator CargoNet is currently operating two Vectron locomotives, hired from Siemens: Unit no. 193 923 and 924. CargoNet was also a close partner in the test- and homologation process of these locomotives in Norway.
Finally, the Norwegian Railway Authority (SJT) granted authorization for the AC version of the Vectron on July 1, 2014.
