Looks like a nice walking/biking trail. Does it follow the tracks for long? How is the rail traffic here?

Hi the path/cycleway in the picture runs from the where I am standing to the trees in the back ground where it joins a shared road. behind me it cross the railway and continues up the estuary to Exeter. This is part of the national SW cycleway and in the last few months they have started construction of a bridge to cross the railway, which should offer a new vantage point.

Traffic wise, freight and engineers are limited, but there are regular passenger trains from London to Plymouth/Penzance/Paignton, as well as local services which tend to run from Exmouth-Exeter-Paignton.
