Last Tallinn-Moscow train departing from Tallinn main station

Tallinn-Moscow passenger train has been running since Soviet occupation started in Estonia, but due to difficult geopolitical situation this train service is now canceled.
@Romet.Lyytsepp May be due the low ridership? Seems like train will be restored by Russian Railways company as Moscow - Saint-Petersburg - Tallinn.
Yes the demand is very low and there is not much interest. And yes the situation is new, being totally different from the past. Vilnius - St.Peterburg will be canceled as well in the end of May.
@Romet.Lyytsepp occupation, seriously? Changeling notions and ignorance of history, that's what it's called.
Yes seriously, it was Russian occupation in Estonia. Moscow and KGB tried to control everything and there was Russian milicia and army on the wrong territory, obviously this situation was occupation and nothing else. It is possible to name the situation whatever somebody want's but the facts doesn't change and the facts live with the people who managed to survive the occupation time. So if somebody don't belive, it is still possible to ask the estonians who had to live under Russian occupation and then the most true answer will be heared. If you want to know what time the train leaves you ask the info from train company operating that train but not from the bakery what could give whatever information, obvious, isn't it. In Moscow of course there was no Russian occupation because of Moscow is Russia. In case of Estonia the situation was different because of Estonia is not Russia and never will be. With the end of Russian power, the occupation in Estonia is over, also Russia showed that it can honor other nations, at least sometimes. Now estonians can again design their future and learn through the mistakes they make by themselves. It's a win-win, good for both sides.

Today was the day the last Moscow - Tallinn train arrived to Tallinn.
@mikhail.krivyy Yes there are some plans to introduce Tallinn-St.Petersburg-Moscow train by RZD, but it is not clear yet whether or not this will be done. It is also clear that if Moscow train will ever run again it will be loss-making for train operator, because as you mentioned there is not much interest by Russians to travel to Estonia and vice versa.

Well I don't want to discuss politics - one can call it occupation or whatever. I did not meant to offend you. Let's put it this way: I don't believe everything that western politics say and I don't believe everything that Russians say.
@Romet.Lyytsepp There is no any politics there. The number of tourists from Russia depends only on oil price. 🙂
