This photo was an experiment with a high ISO setting: 4000. It was a darkish morning and rainy, but with a high ISO, digital cameras can do surprisingly well - much more so than when we tried to push process film years ago. Often, it can now be the difference between getting a decent image or no image at all. Try it sometime when you didn't expect to capture a darkish scene!
