ND2 locomotives were built by Electroputere Craiova, with a few design modifications (the engine and DC motors are the same like CFR's class 60/62/67/68). Some returned to Romania some years ago, bought by a private operator, G.F.R.. Of course, they received buffers and UIC couples.
