Amtrak 186 accelerates past some graffiti proclaiming the Troost neighborhood in KCMO, probably not realizing that the major street was named for Dr. Benoist Troost, a founding father of the city; the first resident physician in the KC area, one of the governing trustees, publisher of the first newspaper and an originator of the first chamber of commerce in KC in 1857. The graffiti artist is correct - Troost was indeed a star.
