Its more relief than happiness to see bright sunshine in Kerala state as it faced the worst floods in a century for the past few weeks.Heavy rains lashed the state resulting in wide spread destruction and loss of lives.The shutters of most dams where opened.Rail traffic was suspended in most sections as tracks where washed away in some places and water level rose to dangerously high levels in others.Most trains were either cancelled,short terminated or re routed.On 20th of August rail traffic was restored except for some branch lines.Here Gorakhpur bound Raptisagar express passes through Mararikulam at a restricted speed of 60kmph
