@Maersk.146 No. I think new owner has renumbered this loco. Usually on 1520mm railways locomotives are assigned number from factory, opposed to US where each owner has their own numbering system.
@Maersk.146 Also, the locomotive number can be changed when a locomotive with a real number according to the documents must be written off the balance sheet and sent for recycling due to its service life, but technically it is still in good condition. Let's imagine, for example, that we need to write off and send for scrap a diesel locomotive 2TE10M-0546, but it can still work. In this case, a locomotive of the same series is taken, but with a different number, which is in a more worn out condition, although it is newer by the year of production. Let's imagine that in our case it is 2TE10M-1456. The number is changed, i.e. 2TE10M-1456 gets the number 0546, and 2TE10M-0546 gets the number 1456. And what we get - the fake 2TE10M-0546 (former 1456) is sent to scrap metal, and the fake 2TE10M-1456 (former 0546) continues to work with trains. The accounting department in the depot is clean and everyone is happy.
