What voltage is this power line used for? 750 kV?
@white.dead I don't know exactly. It might be 110/220/380 kV.
@fabio89
But, if it crackle too much and there is a phase splitting into 4 wires, then about 750 kV. I just don't know which voltage class in Germany is used. 😅
P.S. Nice photo! 😉
@white.dead These are 380kV 50Hz 3-phase lines. Germany's Railway Overhead system is 1-AC 15kV 16,7Hz and supplied autonomously with 110kV 16,7Hz Lines
@Taurus717
Thanks for the answer! But why then phase splitting into 4 wires? In Russia, on high voltage AC lines for 330 kV, 2 wires are used in phase splitting and 3 wires on phase on 500 kV lines. Could not be due to corona discharge such an application

@white.dead Numbers of wires depends on Ampere and not on Volts 😉
@fabio89

I also thought that this was due to the strength of the current, since the voltage is not very high. 😂 I remember that in Ukraine there is a small power line from some plant, where there is a very small voltage, but phase splitting into 6 wires is purely due to the large amperage on the line.
