The day before I shot this loco, it came to my home city with Porbander - Kochuveli Express but the light was very bad in the previous day evening https://trainspo.com/photo/106310/ . Hence I decided that next morning when the Porbander Express returns back I shall give a try. Luckily next day morning was perfectly sunny with no clouds. So usually the incoming loco will go to Thiruvananthapuram Central for diesel filling and return to Kochuveli next day morning with new crew. But the location had an issue. The light was perfect at a railroad crossing near Kochuveli and the gateman should permit me to click. Luckily he was a kind-heart and permitted me to click. Exactly at 1030 hours loco came to Kochuveli and I clicked it in perfect morning light as it moved to Kochuveli station to attach with the consist of Porbander Express. And said a heartfelt thanks to the gateman for permitting me to click this 22 years ALCo in new colors and pristine condition...
