@Romet.Lyytsepp Oh, it's just the 200-500 Nikkor with a 1.4x converter. Works fairly well, except that 3D focus feature of D750 does not function and move about - it just remains centered in the viewfinder. At least the focal length reports correctly with the converter added. The higher cost lenses are able to maintain the 3D focus feature, however. It's a bit annoying to lose functionality in the camera, just because one doesn't have the fanciest lenses, though. Still, it is a useful combo that is capable of capturing excellent rail scenes. Wildlife and birds, too.
@Romet.Lyytsepp Yes, mostly, though I may be trying small group area focus soon, at least for birds flying. The 3D mode is not always able to remain on what I intended.
@1cctlives Yessir! I’m nowhere close to an expert, but do like to see and photograph them (and any other wildlife that crosses my path) whenever possible. Check out our Community-Non Rail Photos section for pictures of birds, etc., that I and others have made. And then, you can upload some of your similar photos
@ Maersk.146 I had looked in there when I first joined but then forgot all about it. Thanks for the reminder. If I ever get any pictures as good as what's showing there I will upload them for sure.
