This always-friendly Amtrak engineer gives me four honks and a victory wave from the cab, as #4 moves from Main 2 to Main 1. The BNSF Marceline Sub dispatcher routed him there to get around a westbound freight holding at Camden up ahead on Main 2 and to overtake a long eastbound container train on Main 3, who came through CA Junction just before Amtrak. It’s a busy morning on the Marceline Sub!
I suspect they have been sold to Chicago’s Metra and are being transferred there...
