The 68 year old Albany yard switcher

This engine was originally built for Southern Pacific as a SD7 in November, 1952. Around 1979 it was rebuilt with a new electrical cabinet, had its dynamic brakes removed and was reclassified as a SD7R.
The engine is painted for three different railroads. The gray and red are its old Southern Pacific colors; it has the current owner Portland and Western's logo on its side; and it is also lettered for the Willamette and Pacific, a predecessor of the P&W.
