You can notice the name "Kavach" written in brackets right next to the Indian Railways logo.. The "Kavach", meaning "Shield" in Hindi, is an indigenously developed Automatic Train collission avoidance system which was successfully tested on two locomotives a month back. Kavach system is now fitted on a few locomotives of South Central Railway zone.
