@Ilia.Obuhov.52 I’m not sure if this was a race, I think just a “parallel run”. The Hunter Valley Steamfest which is also held up there was the one to see, back when two 4-6-2 NSW 38 class locos would race a tiger moth from Newcastle or Broadmeadow finishing at Maitland.
