Till 2019, when I visited Suravali station, it was a diesel traction paradise. I used to spot lots of passenger and freight class ALCos along with EMDs. Between 2019 and 2022, this route got electrified. Work was so fast that by 2022, route was fully electrified and operational. After 3 years as usual I went to Suravali. But in diesel traction, it was EMD locos that were in active in duty. Two days I spent in this route the whole day and I was able to spot just one ALCo pair. In my earlier trainspotting pictures, lots of ALCos can be spotted. Now those days are just memories.
