May be one last time I was able to capture this beautiful scene of a train rolling through teak forest in Nilambur area. As electrification work began, clearing of trees on track side had begun and it will reaching Melattur area soon. It was an unplanned visit to this line but it was worth travelling to Melattur in the early morning train. As summer has started it was bit hot even under the canopy of trees. Wish I had come earlier during ALCo days. But as consolation prize, got PONAMALAI WDP-4D with Nilambur Road - Shoranur Jn Express rolling into Melattur station. Soon WAP-4 & WAP-7 will be rolling through this route.
