@Maersk.146 Don't you mean CPKC?😃
@1cctlives
Sure, though I've seen no physical evidence that CPKC is really a thing, as yet! 🙂 Well, maybe a sign at the entrance to Knoche Yard, but no changes on any power or other rolling stock. They apparently learned a lesson from the ill-fated SPSF merger about painting equipment before the merger was approved, but have carried it even further by painting nothing even months afterward. Just in case... 😂
@Maersk.146 I suppose you can't be too careful, but you could have gotten credit as the discoverer!😉
@1cctlives
Well, oddly I didn't even think about that! It is an official status for the company, after all. Thanks for the thought!
Always KCS and CP. I am yet to come to terms with the new entity called CPKC. The new paint scheme is outrageous with no mention of the southern belle et all.
@dfwtrains Yes, this trend of naming railroads with nothing but initials has gotten out of hand. They surely could have come up with something better than CPKC.
@Maersk.146 CPKC signage is now making to their freight Cars (Vehicle carriers in particular). I will see if I can find a picture of one such car and will share it with you. I hoped that KCS would have got their right share but ...
@1cctlives @dfwtrains
All very good points! And the race is on to Discover the first piece of motive power that actually says CPKC. They have not even produced any "patched" units that I know of, as yet.
