Aralvaimozhi is famous for the wind farms, which generates about 450 MW of electricity. Aralvaimozhi (also spelt Aralvoimozhi) is a small settlement in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Aralvaimozhi possess the largest wind farms in the world. It is a visual treat to see trains passing under the windmills and one can hear the sound of the blades rotating sitting inside the train.
