An year from now, this scenic location will change completely as the electrification of the branch line, Shoranur Jn - Nilambur Road is going on. Already behind me where I am standing huge area of teak trees have been cleared for the power sub-station. Change is inevitable as this branch line cant remain as an isolated diesel traction section. That will make IR reluctant to introduce more trains in this section to connect the mainline which is 100% with electric traction.
