EB coal train descending 17 Mile Grade, crossing Potomac River.

The Potomac River here is the boundary between Maryland and West Virginia. Train is leaving Maryland and about to pass the white marker that is the state line into West Virginia. CSX has a car limit on 17-Mile Grade, so coal trains are cut in half for the segment between Grafton WV and Keyser WV. Eastbound trains get re-assembled at Keyser WV, which is just ahead of this train. Train will cross back over into MD at Cumberland MD, and then cross back and forth between MD and WV a few more times on its way to Baltimore. This is former B&O territory.
