Long Description: Atherton-Herberton Historic Railway Pie Cart 'Track Maintenance Vehicle No1' sits stationary in the Herberton Railway Yard in Queensland, Australia. The "Pie Cart" is a unique maintenance petrol 4wDM locomotive first built by the Mulgrave Sugar Mill located in Gordonvale, Queensland during the 1960s on 2ft (610mm) gauge. It later found itself out of use at the sugar mill and the operator of the mill, MSF Sugar, donated the Pie Cart to the Atherton-Herberton Historic Railway for restoration. Restoration was completed by the Atherton-Herberton Historic Railway in 2022 and now finds itself re-gauged to 3ft 6in (1,067mm) gauge and finds itself being used to shunt in the yard and as it's number identification suggests; maintenance duties.
