The situation with passenger trains in Ukraine is bad, not enough of them. So they even put the ones not in condition to drive in use by towing them by locomotives. It has come to this mainly because of corruption, the money going towards maintenance of trains pretty often gets pocketed by workers of Ukrainian railways.

@mattiasrikka Isn't there any form of government auditing on where the money is spent ?
