Overhauled at Eastleigh Loco Works

storySteam locos were still being overhauled by BR at this time and was seen at the Longmoor Military Railway open day.
The Military Railway was there to train army personnel in the finer act of running a railway should it become necessary. The railway was closed 1969. Further reading can be found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longmoor_Military_Railway
This particular loco escaped scrapping and now is with the Isle of Wight Steam Railway although still awaiting overhaul.
I feel I must correct you on the classification of this loco.
41000 was a 3cyl 4-4-0 Deeley Compound not a 2-6-2T class 2MT. I'm not sure how you arrive at '41000 class', but if you need a class 'number' it should read '41200 class'.
