The world's longest train service

storyRussia with its large distances is a kingdom of overnight passenger services. And of course the first place is taken by the train, which can be seen in the picture. Fast train 002/001, called "Rossiya" ("Russia"), connects Moscow and Vladivostok. It runs on alternate days. 9259 km journey from the heart of Eurasia to the Pacific ocean takes 143.5 hours.
If you're brave enough to bear such a long trip, you will have a great opportunity to see almost the whole Russia with its unique nature. Transsiberian railway (which is used by the service) goes through the Urals, endless Russian taiga, on the shore of Lake Baikal and across the greatest Russian rivers, such as the Volga, the Ob' and the Amur.
In the photo "Rossiya" is caught on the second day of its trip.
