Ed Burkhardt was responsible for introducing the the Class 66 in the UK , and that for me was a bad thing. The livery of crimson and gold was very dull and lacked imagination . A dull livery for a dull loco . I hope my opinion does not offend you.

Hm.. I think you mean this loco: http://worldofrailways.net/gallery/displayimage.php?pid=4239 . Yep that's quite ugly indeed.. But this ChME3 loco with Burkhardt's livery.. I've seen worse, but its not the prettiest either..

Yes, that's the right loco..it's very dull and over silenced. I think that we have nearly 500 Class 66s in the UK with many of our UK built locomotives sat rotting. As for the ChME3 , I think it looks better in the blue or green that I'm used to.
