Yes, Renfe 130 series and Afrosiyob are "theoretically" the same train but with small differences (Afosiyob project comes directly from Renfe 130 series): Afrosiyob trainsets are M-9R-M type (9 Talgo VII coaches and two locomotives) with 1520 mm track gauge built by Talgo, the power system is provided by Ingenetam. Nevertheless, Renfe 130 series trainsets are M-11R-M type (11 Talgo VII coaches and two locomotives) with variable gauge 1435 mm / 1668 mm, also built by Talgo but the power system is provided by Bombardier.
