Although it seems curious, it was the second time in that day that I saw this mixed mixed freight train (with Shimms and Rs wagons) towards León or maybe Poago. It was caused by the close of one of the Magaz by-passes "arm", specifically the "arm" which join Venta de Baños and Palencia because of the works of the new high speed line Valladolid-León. For it, all trains towards south from the north and also all trains towards León, Santander, Asturias or Galicia had to reverse the direction at Magaz's station or in Torquemada's in the one that enabled a temporary centralized traffic control (CTC). In the photo the train comes from Torquemada's station after reversing the direction to continue to León or Poago.
