Visiting from the Museum of Transport And Technology in Auckland are tank locos Y 542 (built by Hunslet Engine Co, Leeds, 1923) and L 507 2-4-0T (built by Avonside Engine Co, Bristol, 1877.) The occasion was Railfan's Day prior to a Steam Festival with exhibits from around NZ and the world.
