storyThe Railway around Bray Head at Graystones is referred to as Brunels Folly. Cut through the slate of the Wicklow Mountains , it requires much maintenance. The tunnel portal to the right of the shot is from an earlier formation , the line suffering heavy erosion. The line was designed in 1885 and spoilt by the wires needed for Dublin Area Rapid Transit which began operating in 1984. There may be some factual errors here , but I'm open to correction.
NICE shot! Thanks
